The Last Week of a Season: A Planning Guide
Six days of Genesis left. What to check first, which quests pay the most for one evening, how Daily Checks and team quests behave near the close, and when to stop.

Genesis closes on 31 October at 23:59:59 UTC. That leaves six days and one evening, and the last week of a season rewards a plan more than it rewards long nights.
Here's how we'd spend it, in the order that matters.
1. Check the one rule that decides whether you get paid#
Points decide your place. Getting paid for that place needs one more thing: at least one verified on-chain transaction of yours inside the season window.
Two kinds count:
- a swap that a quest check verified, on Base or on Soneium;
- a counted Daily Check, on any of the three networks.
Quests that read what your wallet holds (gas, dollars, a deposit, a liquidity position) don't count here, however many of them you finish. If you're in prize range and still missing this, the leaderboard tells you so while there's time to fix it.
The cheapest fix is a Daily Check: one small transaction that costs only gas, a fraction of a cent. The one that also pays well is First Exchange, a swap on Uniswap on Base for 60 points. If you've never made a swap, here's how to do it for under ten cents.
Do this first. Everything below only moves your place, and a place without this transaction pays nothing.
2. Link your accounts before you farm quests#
Every quest payout is multiplied by your reputation score: a score of 45 adds 45% to everything a quest pays, and a maxed profile (90) adds 90%. The score is read at the moment of the credit. Raise it on Monday, and every quest you finish after that pays more. Nothing already paid is recalculated.
So the order matters. Linking X, Discord and Telegram raises the score and also pays on its own: Radio Tower, Guild Hall and Night Channel are 20 points each. Do them before the expensive quests, not after.
3. Spend your evenings on what pays the most#
Quests are priced by what they ask of you: 20 for linking an account or holding a small balance, 60 for one real transaction, 120 for a larger threshold, a new protocol or depending on other people. Repeating something you've already been paid for is worth half.
That makes the math simple. If you have one evening, these are worth it:
| Quest | What it asks | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Closing Deal | Swap 0.25 USDC or more on any venue in the city, on Base | 120 |
| Deposit Box | Hold 0.10 aUSDC or more, a deposit in Aave on Base | 120 |
| Harbor Berth | Hold a liquidity position on Kyo, on Soneium | 120 |
| New Settler | Bring someone who closes a quest of their own | 120 |
| First Exchange | A swap on Uniswap on Base | 60 |
| Second Market | A swap on Aerodrome, on Base | 60 |
| Kyo Counter | Swap 0.10 USDC.e or more on Kyo, on Soneium | 60 |
| City Rhythm | A Daily Check on three different days | 60 |
The swaps double as your payout transaction, so one evening of swaps on Base can cover rule one and a few hundred points at once. If a deposit or a liquidity position is new to you, we wrote plain-words guides to a lending deposit and providing liquidity.
The 20-point holding quests on Base, Fuel Cell (a little ETH for gas) and Hard Currency (0.10 USDC), are worth picking up on the way, because after a swap the funds are often already in your wallet. Every Sonic quest pays half-tier, so leave Sonic for last if time is short.
4. Start the Daily Check today, not on Thursday#
A Daily Check pays points equal to your current streak: 1 on the first day, 2 on the second, and so on up to 30. Miss a day and the streak starts again at 1.
That's why the day you start matters. Starting from zero today, 25 October, you can make seven checks before the close: 1 + 2 + … + 7 = 28 points, and the third one also completes City Rhythm for 60 more. Start on Thursday, and you get three checks, 6 points, and City Rhythm on the last day with no room for a miss.
It also counts for the payout rule, from the very first check.
5. Team quests: fill one, or don't start one#
There are three team quests: Night Shift (7 seats), Dock Detail (5 seats) and Last Run (3 seats). They work differently from everything else. A team quest pays nothing for its tasks. It pays one shared pool, and only when the last seat is filled.
In Genesis, a team's deadline is the season's close. A team that isn't full on 31 October burns its whole pool, for everyone in it, including the players who finished their tasks.
In the last week, that changes the advice:
- Last Run needs three people. If you have two friends who play, it's the realistic one: 78, 72 and 70 points by order of joining.
- Before you take a seat on a bigger team, open the quest panel. It shows every seat, who holds it and who has finished. Two seats open on Monday is a good bet. Five open on Friday isn't.
- Bring your own people. That is also what New Settler pays for.
Why the seats are priced the way they are is in team quests: why a bigger team pays more per seat.
6. Check how far you are from the Founding Charter#
The Founding Charter is the season's own quest: any 20 quests and 700 season points, both at once, for 200 points. The points are your leaderboard score, so quests, the multiplier, Daily Checks and referral points all count toward the 700. The Charter itself isn't one of the 20.
If you're at 15 or 16 quests now, the cheap 20-point quests above can close the gap in an evening. If you're at 8, it's still possible, but it's the whole week.
7. Don't leave the last check for the last minute#
The close is exact, and a few things take longer than a click:
- The window is checked twice, when you take a quest and when it completes. A quest finished after the last second pays nothing.
- A swap needs to settle before the check accepts it: 8 blocks on Base and Soneium, 10 on Sonic, about sixteen seconds on each network.
- Indexers can trail the chain by a few seconds, so an empty check sometimes needs a second try a minute later.
- The leaderboard freezes at 23:59:59 UTC. A point earned after that doesn't reach it.
23:59 UTC is still the afternoon or evening of 31 October in the Americas and already 1 November in most of Europe and Asia, so check what it means where you live. We'd aim to be done by Saturday afternoon, your time.
After the close#
The leaderboard freezes, a snapshot records every ranked player's final place and amount, and payouts go out by hand from that snapshot to the main wallet on your profile. There's no claim page, no claim transaction and nothing to sign. If anyone asks you to send funds or sign an approval to "unlock" a prize, it isn't us. The full process is on the prize pool and payouts page.
Six days is enough for a lot of quests. Open app.denshin.io, make your first check today, and plan the rest.
